For many years, while residing in Oklahoma, a Colorado native dreamed of moving his family back to his home state but charged their design teamwith giving their city house the same kind of connection to the land as their Oklahoma spread.

George Saad, owner of Forte Distinctive homes, scraped the previous 1920s duplex to make room for the new contemporary build that features a third-story patio overlooking the Washington Park lake and boathouse.
